NCERT Editor, Business Manager, More Vacancies Recruitment 2020 Qualification Details:

Post Name: Editor (Urdu Language)

1. Pay Scale: Level - 11 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix (Estimated PB-III Rs. 15600- 39100 + Grade Pay Rs. 6600 / -)

2. Essential Educational Qualification: (i) Bachelor's degree from a recognized university. (ii) Postgraduate Diploma in Book Publishing / Mass Communication / Journalism, where editing is one of the subject. (iii) At least 8 years of experience in the editing, construction-planning and supervision of school textbooks, monographs and reports in particular. (iv) Must be proficient in production technology of books, modern process of printing, knowledge of typography and English / Hindi / Urdu.

3. Desirable: word processing and online editing techniques

1. Pay Scale: Level - 11 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix (Prvvised PB-III Rs. 15600- 39100 + Grade Pay Rs. 6600 / -)

2. Essential Educational Qualification: (i) Master in Business Administration from a recognized University / Institute. OR Bachelor Degree from a recognized University with Post Graduate Diploma in Sales / Marketing / Business Administration. (ii) At least 08 years experience in sales and sales promotion in a reputed publishing organization.

3. Desirable: Working knowledge of computer.

Post Name: Assistant Production Officer

1. Pay Scale: Level-10 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix (PB-III- 39100 of Rs 15600 + Grade Pay Rs 5400 / -)

2. Essential Educational Qualification: (i) Bachelor's degree in Printing Technology from a recognized university. OR Bachelor Degree in any discipline with Diploma in Printing Technology. (ii) At least 05 years experience in print production of textbooks, general publications, magazines etc. in reputed publication / printing organization. (iii) Knowledge about all aspects of cover design, lay-out, paper, block and printing technology. (iv) Familiarity in computer based printing processes.

Age: not more than 27 to 40 years
Application fee: Rs. 750 / -, Rs. 800 / -, for General / EWS and OBC Rs. 1,000 / -. Women applicants, SC / ST, Ex-servicemen, and differently abled persons (PH) are exempted from the fee.

General Instructions to Applicants

1. Council reserves the right to conduct written examination for all posts.

2. Wherever required, the applicant is required to appear for written / skill / proficiency / trade test, so that basic knowledge can be obtained as per the requirement of the post. Those applicants, who will qualify in the written test / skill / proficiency / trade test or any other exam applicable to that post, will be called for interview / verification of original testimonials.

3. The upper age limit prescribed for direct recruitment will be relaxed in the case of applicants belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes (Central List), Physically Handicapped, Ex-Servicemen and other specified categories as per the individual. In this regard with orders issued from time to time by the Central Govd.

4. Applicants belonging to SC / ST / OBC / PH categories should prepare a verified copy of the certificate issued by the competent authority in the prescribed format, as stated in the Indian format. In the case of applicants belonging to the OBC category, their certificate should specifically contain a section that the applicant does not belong to the creamy layer section. An ex-serviceman applicant has to produce a copy of the discharge certificate / pension payment order and documentary proof of the last / presently placed (also currently acting) at the time of interview. Those who are still in the defense service should submit a certificate from their competent authority that they will get relief from the defense service in case of selection.

5. The applicant should have the required required educational qualification and required experience etc., as mentioned in the advertisement, that is the last date for submission of the application. Applicants serving with Govement / State Govt./PSUs/Autonomous bodies etc. should send their application through on-line with "No Objection Certificate" issued by their serving department.

6. Applications that do not meet the prescribed eligibility criteria given in the advertisement and / or incomplete applications are summarily rejected. While submitting the online application, the applicant must not false, tamper, fabricate, conceal or suppress any material / information.

7. The number of advertised positions may vary, and the council reserves the right not to fill some or all of the advertised positions, if the circumstances so warrant. Applicants can be posted in any of the constituent units of NCERT spread across India. Fees once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.

8. The Council shall verify the appointment letters / antiquedants or documents submitted by an applicant during the tenure of service, and in case, it is discovered that the documents submitted by the applicants are incorrect or the applicant has suppressed the relevant information, his / His services will be terminated without prejudice to any other action initiated by the Council.
